We’ve just returned from an exciting weekend of racing in the Orcas Island Yacht Club’s annual “Round the County.” It is a 2 day 75 mile race that offers a great variety of conditions and challenges.
Martha sailed beautifully, the work we accomplished this past winter has made a remarkable difference in her performance. And of course the crew did an amazing job of their art, just about every set and strike was accomplished with startling efficiency.
It is so rewarding to watch Martha switch gears with the changing conditions and sail to her optimum.

And of course we wish to send a hardy thanks to Betsy and the race committee at the Orcas Island Yacht Club.
